Greetings, friends of ARDF!
Our first disaster response trip of 2024 has been confirmed to aid Rolling Fork, MS, in the long-term recovery after the tornado of March 24, 2023. Our amazing partner is Rolling Fork Rising (RFR), a local non-profit made up of churches, businesses, and individuals, who aspire to bringing Rolling Fork citizens who were formerly renting, back to Rolling Fork as home-owners. RFR is accomplishing this mission through education and God’s timely provision of resources! Each potential home-owner must complete and pass nine hours of study in personal financial management and home ownership before they may apply for a home. God has been good, and RFR’s first home was completed in nine months after the tornado!

I hope you will consider joining us! Please note ARDF has implemented a standard disaster response trip fee of $500. After an analysis of 2023 expenses, the fee will help offset administration costs, in addition to food, transportation, tools, and other trip expenses. The $500 fee also includes whatever fee our partner is charging, so in the case of AIM, it is $395.
