September 3 @ 9:15 am – 10:00 am
St. John Chrysostom (A.D. 347-407) said, “Nothing so arouses the soul, gives it wing, sets it free from the earth, releases it from the prison of the body, teaches it to love wisdom and to despise all the things of this life, as concordant melody and sacred song composed in rhythm.”
During the Summer we will have a hymn sing on the first Sunday of each Month during the Sunday School hour (9:15-10:00 a.m.). All ages are encouraged to attend. We will be learning a few new settings of our service music, along with a few selected hymns. Then we will have the opportunity to call out hymns and join our voices.
This should be a delightful and spiritually enriching time.
