of Church of Our Saviour at Oatlands
A Special Commemoration
On the 21st of August, 2016, the Rt. Rev. Daniel Morse consecrated our Church building. That event was a crowning moment for the Church of Our Saviour. In the previous decade, the Church left the Episcopal Church due to its flagrant apostasy, lost its historic church building, which had been in continual use since 1878, and suffered a schism. Despite the adversity, the faithful members of the parish persisted in the Gospel and our Anglican heritage. They purchased the land we now inhabit and sacrificially gave of themselves, their time, and their money to build our present Church building. They sacrificed in hope and in the expectation that God would honor the Gospel witness of this parish. We are the beneficiaries of their offering to God.
Join us on September 13th as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the consecration of our Church building. Sign up to attend and contribute to the potluck. We will have a presentation on the history of our parish by Dan Bell, and every family in attendance will receive a special token to mark the occasion.
